How does the muscular system work with other systems?
One of the systems that works in conjuction with the muscular system is the skeletal system. This is kind of obvious with the skeletal muscles. This type of muscle is usually connected to a bone by means of a tendon. When you move any bone that has a skeletal muscle connected to it, the bone and the muscle move together.
Another system that works well with the muscular system is the digestive system. This comes into play with the smooth muscles. The stomach, small intestine, and the large intestine, and other parts of the digestive system are all smooth muscles because they are involuntary. So without the smooth muscles, you could not digest anything and therefore could not eat anything!
The third body system that works in conjuction with the muscular system is the circulatory system. This is shown in the cardiac muscle. The circulatory system takes blood and oxygen to and from the heart, which is actually just the cardiac muscle. Without the circulatory system, no blood or oxygen could be brought to the heart, and without the cardiac muscle (the heart) the circulatory system would have no way to get blood or oxygen and send it to the other parts of the body.
